The 39th World Gallery of Cartoons - Skopje 2011 has demonstrated its ripeness by becoming a world ranking event. Its reputation across the globe is quite apparent judging by the interest of the artists for participation in the event. Namely, 404 authors entering 880 art works from 64 countries in the world have been encouraged to apply.
OSTEN is striving towards expanding this number every succeeding year and thus is trying to motivate cartoon artists to be creatively inspired and engaged by awarding prizes and recognitions.
This edition of 39th World Gallery of Cartoons – Skopje 2011 has been recognized by having had the following recipients rewarded by OSTEN:
