Ken FRIEDMAN, Sweden

Ken Friedman (1949) is an artist, designer, and scholar associated with the international Fluxus movement. His work spans art, design, music, and architecture and is held in major collections including the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, Guggenheim Museum, Tate, and Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.

Friedman is Chair Professor of Design Innovation Studies at Tongji University in Shanghai and Professor Emeritus at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. He is Co-Editor-in-Chief of She Ji: The Journal of Design, Economics, and Innovation and President of the Emily Harvey Foundation. His work has been exhibited internationally, including in the touring exhibition 92 Events.

Rodoljub ANASTASOV, N. Macedonia

Rodoljub ANASTASOV (1935 – 2026) is one of the most relevant artists in contemporary Macedonian art. In 1962 he graduated at the Art Academy in Belgrade. After his return to Skopje he began working in the field of the Nonfigurative Art. From 1980 till his retirement, he worked as a Professor at the Faculty of Art in Skopje. In 2009 the American Biographical Institute placed Anastasov among the 500 greatest geniuses of the 21st century. In 2011 Anastasov made a donation to the Museum of the City of Skopje with 389 artworks.

In his body of work, Anastasov made pioneering breakthroughs in abstraction, remaining unaffected by the Macedonian geo-or cultural region. Оn the contrary, the questions that occupy him are of a more universal nature, which are dominant in his huge cycles “In Search of Lost Space” and “Man and Space”.
