On 11 May 2024 at 12 p.m., OSTEN ART Skopje presented the official GRAND PRIX for Lifetime Achievement at the OSTEN BIENNIAL Skopje 2024 to one of the greatest artists of today - MICHELANGELO PISTOLETO.

According to Pistoletto's desire to be a motive for connecting and unifying people and institutions in the region, the act of presentation was held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, as part of the program within his solo exhibition "Preventive Peace". The official GRAND PRIX - a sculpture by Macedonian sculptor Petar Hadji Boshkov, was presented to Maestro Pistoletto by Kornelia Koneska, executive director of OSTEN Skopje.

Michelangelo Pistoletto's exhibition "Preventive Peace" gives an insight into more than sixty years of practice of the most prominent Italian artist and one of the most influential contemporary artists in Europe today.
This comprehensive exhibition aims to showcase the artist's entire oeuvre, including Pistoletto's capital works: Mirror Paintings, Venus of Rags, Minus Objects, Loving the Differences - an Art Movement for Inter-Mediterranean Politics, The Third Paradise and many other sculptures and installations, as well as photographs, video - records, and early actions in public space.
