Concept of the audio-visual exhibition

“5 Stories” is a complex audiovisual exhibition, viewed and
presented by Miliseknd, a contemporary narrator and conceptual artist.
Through his work, he brings a different exhibition perspective,
compared to the one we are used to, offering ad hoc interactive content, which requires the viewer to become part of the work of art, because otherwise the viewer misses the complete artistic
experience. It acts on the observer through audiovisual
installations in the form of interactive pyramids with mirrors.
Each pyramid is the bearer of a story that encourages the
viewer’s moment of self-reflection, mixed with the artist’s perception of a certain narrative, as well as the
presentation of the modern world and society.
By putting on headphones, which are a necessary part of these installations, everyone has the opportunity
to be “isolated” and get a unique experience of the work of art, without imposing the opinions of people in the immediate environment, which is very liberating. Without the burden of thinking that is not his, the
observer is brought into an interactive space of confronting his own opinion, as well as the artist’s own thought, which aims to inspire the observer and encourage him to a positive outcome of hidden
contemplation. The topics that Miliseknd deals with through these five stories are focused on issues of
identity, individual self-confidence, as well as promoting true values, which are the true path to happiness. The combination of visual and audio art gives a rounded picture, especially in an age when concentration is reduced to just a few minutes and when the average consumer requires enough attractive content to value a certain “picture”. Perhaps this way is closer to the younger generations, millennials and generation z, due to the type of presentation of topics, but in terms of content, it can correspond to any art user as such.
In the end, the key element is the artist himself, who hides his identity right behind the mask in the form of the same pyramid with mirrors, which makes us, when meeting him, face ourselves, through reflection in the mirror. However, the physical concealment of the artist’s identity draws attention to the content, so that by discovering certain parts of the exhibition, the artist himself and his self are introduced, without directly
revealing the person. At the end of each story, when we look at others and talk about them, we learn a lot more about ourselves.
